When lining walls in Kaitaia, the local knowledge is tried and tested, and the go-to product is Triboard.

Kaitaia Stihl Shop owners Carol and Johno have renovated the old Toll Transport workshop into their

new premises. Rob and Andrew Bennie from Kiwi Carpentry and there super charged team were

tasked with the upgrade, and the obvious choice to line the new premises was Triboard.

Carol and Johno have used Triboard and Kiwi Carpentry in the past, so they knew a quality durable

wall lining was required to handle their new Stihl shop kit out.

In the workshop and showroom areas, which are more prone to knocks, the super strong density of

15mm thick Triboard was used as it can take the hard knocks. 10mm thick Triboard was used in the

office areas, and 36m thick was used for benchtops and office desks.

As you can see from the images the showroom has some very solid wall mounts and shelving –

Triboard is a key component here as you don’t need to find a stud, as with Triboard’s core strength

you can screw in anywhere. Triboard panels on the workshop walls have been clear coated giving

warm natural tones.

Triboard comes packed with benefits for shop fit-outs:

  •  Sheet length and thickness options
  •  Triboard outer skin is as tough as nails
  •  5+ paint-ready finish
  •  Excellent screw-holding ability
  •  Stairway construction
  •  Over 30 years of experience in the building and construction industry
