Resurfacing made easy

Our unique Remodel Without Removal™ system means that you can renovate any solid surface without the cost and inconvenience of removing and disposing of your existing floor. Our surface engineers have perfected this method through applying X-Bond with Liquid Membrane, which chemically adheres to almost any existing surface—from old concrete slabs and tiles to stone, plasterboard and brick. It’s the easiest and most cost effective way of saying out with the old, in with the new!

Why You Should Consider X-Bond for Your Next Renovation

Durable and resistant in spades

X-Bond is more durable than other overlay systems thanks to the added latex polymer, which gives the product greater flexibility and resistance without the risk of delamination. In particular, X-Bond is a great choice for renovating your pool areas as it’s watertight and has a high resistance to chlorine, abrasion and UV rays. Despite being only a few millimeters thick, X-Bond microcement is also highly resistant to cracking and adverse weather conditions—which means it has no problem being exposed to the elements. Microcement also has the extra bonus of eliminating the need to re-pave or renew surfaces every four or five years. If you choose X-Bond for your next renovation, it will be the first and last reno you’ll ever have to do.

A team player

By this we mean that X-Bond pairs easily with other materials (we even have a whole blog post about it). No matter what vibe you’re going for, or what purpose your space serves, you should be able to consistently use microcement throughout the whole project without compromising your aesthetic or practical needs. Whether you’re renovating your home, updating an outdated hospitality venue into the next cool hangout spot, or giving a tried shopping centre some much-needed oomf—X-Bond is your go-to. Thanks to its vast array of colour options (you can even go custom), X-Bond can match whichever design style and materials your heart desires.

Get the concrete look (minus the concrete)

X-Bond is the perfect choice for concrete lovers who are seeking an alternative to applying (or reapplying) actual concrete. It’s a cost-effective and easy way to get the concrete look, with more and more people now opting for micro-cement finishes over real concrete. The best part is that X-Bond comes in a range of various different finishes so you can achieve exactly the kind of concrete texture you’re looking for. If you’re after a rustic finish, X-Bond Seamless Stone is the choice for you—it’s a raw and natural texture with visible trowel marks. If you’re after a smoother floor with more tonal and colour variation, X-Bond Polished Stone achieves that more sanded and ‘industrial’ finish.
