AJ Table Lamp

Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu). The light contributed to the total design concept of the hotel. Several of the hotel items have achieved design icon status today, and among the lighting products the AJ lamps in particular have become world renowned. Five new colour variants were introduced in connection with the 50th anniversary of the launch of the AJ family. The new colours have been carefully chosen in line with an updated Arne Jacobsen colour scheme. The fixture emits downward directed light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light.

About the
Seller

Established in 1997, Cult (formerly Corporate Culture) was formed to provide not only exceptional designer furniture, but also a high level of customer service, a combination not yet experienced in the Australian marketplace.

In his endeavours since then, company founder and director Richard Munao have built one of the most comprehensive collections of brand partners in Australia and New Zealand. Cult has grown from its first location in Sydney to now include showrooms in Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland as well as distributors in Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.

In addition to founding Cult, and supporting strong international partners like Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen & Son, &Tradition, HAY and Gubi, in 2017 Cult launched Nau, a contemporary collection of Australian made furniture, lighting and accessories by a collective of Australia's most curious, talented and spirited designers.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
