New England Blackbutt Decking

  • Species: New England Blackbutt, Eucalyptus andrewsii (Non Tropical Hardwood)
  • Profile: Pencil Round, Smooth
  • Size: 135mm x 19mm
  • Length: Random Length (1.2m to 5.7m)
  • Hardness Rating: Janka 9.5
  • Natural Durability: Class 2 In Ground, Class 2 Above Ground
  • Colour: Straight grained timber with a warm nutty hues and pale brown heartwood. 
  • Treatment: Sapwood treated to H3.2
  • Grade: Standard & Better – Is generally of a clearer appearance as gum veins are rarely present. It has a fine, even texture and usually features an interlocked grain with some surface checking.

Turpentine Decking

  • Species: Turpentine, Syncarpia glomulifera (Non Tropical Hardwood)
  • Profile: Pencil Round, Smooth
  • Size: 135mm x 19mm
  • Length: Random Length (1.2m to 5.7m)
  • Hardness Rating: Janka 12
  • Natural Durability: Class 2 In Ground, Class 1 Above Ground
  • Colour: Its general appearance is reddish brown to dark chocolate with sapwood paler in colour. 
  • Treatment: Sapwood treated to H3.2 
  • Grade: Standard & Better – Is generally of a clearer appearance as gum veins are rarely present. It has a fine, even texture and usually features an interlocked grain with some surface checking.

Spotted Gum (QLD) Decking

  • Species: Spotted Gum (QLD), Corymbia citriodora (Non Tropical Hardwood)
  • Profile: Pencil Round, Smooth
  • Size: 135mm x 19mm
  • Length: Random Length (1.2m to 5.7m)
  • Hardness Rating: Janka 11
  • Natural Durability: Class 2 In Ground, Class 1 Above Ground
  • Colour: Heartwood pale to dark brown to dark chocolate with some reddish tinges. Sapwood is distinctively paler
  • Treatment: Sapwood treated to H3.2 
  • Grade: Standard & Better – Is generally of a clearer appearance as gum veins are rarely present. It has a fine, even texture and usually features an interlocked grain with some surface checking.

Ironbark Decking

  • Species: Ironbark, Eucalyptus paniculata (Non Tropical Hardwood)
  • Profile: Pencil Round, Smooth
  • Size: 135mm x 19mm & 140mm x 22mm
  • Length: Random Length (1.2m to 5.7m)
  • Hardness Rating: Janka 14
  • Natural Durability: Class 1 In Ground, Class 1 Above Ground
  • Colour: Its heartwood colour varies from pale brown to dark chocolate brown and also dark red. 
  • Treatment: Sapwood treated to H3.2 
  • Grade: Standard & Better – Is generally of a clearer appearance as gum veins are rarely present. It has a fine, even texture and usually features an interlocked grain with some surface checking.
