Internal

Ironwood can mill and supply a large range of recycled, reclaimed and new Australian hardwoods and oregon into various widths and thicknesses of wall cladding. There are many different finishes and colour ranges available. These include a clean DAR (Dressed All Round) finish in creams, reds and browns, which are the most rustic and weathered feature cladding from our heritage collection.

Our range of claddings are highly sought after and used by leading architects, designers, builders and home renovators for commercial and residential fit-outs.

Some of our cladding is made from historic timber. One of our newest products is recycled re-milled oregon cladding or flooring, originally used as scaffolding planks for the painting and maintenance of the Sydney Harbour Bridge by the former RTA in 1946. This high quality timber is available in a range of finishes including hand wire brushed, skip dressed or dressed all round.

External

Ironwood also produce a large range of Class 1 durability hardwoods well suited for external wall cladding or ceiling and eave lining.

Available in a range of widths and traditional profiles or milled to match an existing one. The range of finishes include DAR, rough sawn, wire brushed, skip dressed and original weathered grey wire brushed for a rustic low maintenance finish.

“Yakisugi” is the traditional Japanese method of wood preservation through fire treatment.
At Ironwood we are using this method to create our new Charred Shiplap Cladding which is fire treated to create a unique architectural look, is highly durable and termite resistant. Our Charred Shiplap Cladding is precision milled from durable Australian Hardwoods for the perfect finish.

This external cladding is ethically sourced, maintenance free and produced exclusively at our Taree mill.

About the
Seller

Ironwood Australia are Australia’s leading and foremost supplier of recycled Australian hardwood timbers.

Ironwood Australia's recycled hardwood timbers are suitable for any purpose for which timber can be used; from residential and commercial premises to golf courses, schools, playgrounds and bridges.

Ironwood (formerly known as the Rozelle Recycled Building Centre) was established more than 20 years ago. Our recycled hardwood timbers are sought after and specified by some of Australia’s most well known and highly regarded architects, project managers, interior designers, property stylists, property developers, hoteliers, restauranteurs and, of course, DIY renovators who want to add some character to their renovation project.

The quality, look and strength of recycled and reclaimed Australian hardwood timbers far exceeds the quality of new timber products and also has the added attraction of being an environmentally sustainable and renewable building material. Unlike new timber, the resawn recycled timber will stay straight 99% of the time.

This also means that our recycled and reclaimed Australian hardwood timber can be used for a variety of purposes. They can also be milled to size at our own mill and we can finish the timber with a range of finishes to give the timber that exact look you are seeking.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
