Designed for use as a stand alone lock in narrow stile sliding doors, or with your choice of handles, on timber or aluminium.

The HB2010 PZW is a narrow 30mm backset sliding door lock that can be used in the standard manner, or where two large sliding doors pass across each other.

The HB2010 with two prong locking claws is specifically designed for sliding doors, however the sister lock, the HB2015 utilises the same case dimensions but with a deadbolt suitable for hinge, bi-fold, or pivot doors.

Escutcheons and cylinder sold separately. Cylinder length required will depend on door thickness.

Scope of use

The HB2010 is designed for secure locking of sliding doors in both residential and commercial applications. Suitable for:

  • Timber or aluminium sliding doors requiring a compact lock case with a 30mm backset
  • Narrow-stile door frames where standard mortice locks are too deep
  • Two-panel sliding doors where one leaf overlaps the other, using the lock’s dual pronged locking claws for secure engagement
  • Interior or exterior sliding doors needing a key-operated locking function (when paired with a Euro cylinder)
  • Installations requiring a lock compatible with Halliday + Baillie flush pulls and escutcheons (sold separately)
  • Projects specifying architectural hardware with a minimal, concealed finish
