Royal Reds are a wonderful sustainable cost competitive alternative to the likes of Kwila. Royal Reds are a mix of Red Mahogany and Turpentine, both Class 1 durable (40 years plus) hardwood from the Eucalypt family. We also now supply Jarrah – an incredible rot / decay resistant hardwood that has been used for centuries!
The decking is PEFC certified (Jarrah FSC Certified), ensuring full chain-of-custody traceability from milling through to export. Each tree is GPS tracked, providing exceptional transparency and assurance of its source unlike Kwila.
Like all hardwood decks, Royal Reds can still leach but not to the extent of Kwila. Any leaching marks on the surface will eventually wash away if left to silver. Otherwise a simple deck cleaner will remove these.
