SAS310 is a lay-in tile system that offers the facility to design the metal pan-suspended ceiling to suit any building module. The lay-in tiles are suspended from an exposed modular top hat or tee bar grid. SAS310 grid is typically specified as two-way, however, one-way options are available on request.
Delivering functionality and performance, the metal pan ceiling tiles are available in a range of shapes and sizes and can be specified with perforations up to 65% open area.
Specifications:

Grid Descriptions
SAS310 tiles are supported directly from the soffit on a modular top hat exposed aluminium grid.
The visible main runners and cross tees feature an M6 thread form recess that facilitates the location and relocation of partition heads, signs, and other lightweight fixtures by means of an M6 bolt, without causing damage to the ceiling plane.
The linear grid is locked in by concealed aluminium ‘T’ distancing splines that are installed at 1200 / 1500mm intervals. These tee sections provide bracing to the main runners.
Additional Loads
When supporting services such as downlights, speakers, detectors, and other mechanical and electrical services, the maximum load applied to the metal pan ceiling tile must not exceed 7kg including spreader yokes if applicable.
The application of any load should always be considered. Please consult the SAS technical department for further advice.
