Shutters – Cedar 68/90mm Louvre

Cedar shutters provide a bold, striking alternative to more conventional blinds and are a very practical window treatment option. They look stunning in contemporary minimalist style homes or town houses, beautiful on classic villas and character homes and can transform simply designed houses.
Window Treatments’ Cedar shutters are created, like our range of Cedar blinds, from western red cedar which is free of resin, lightweight and easy to work with. Its low shrinkage and superior insulation factors make it ideal for shutters. Only the highest clear wood grade of mature timber is used and colour graded, from light to dark within each shutter.

The blades on our Cedar Shutters can easily be adjusted for privacy, protection against damaging sunlight and to allow air flow or alternately, fixed in place at the time of manufacture.
Fitted inside a door jamb, they can provide a distinctive alternative to conventional doors, providing privacy, yet allowing air and light to circulate freely. Cedar shutters are also the perfect solution for unusual or irregularly shaped windows.
Folding and sliding shutters between rooms can be opened to link and adapt spaces or enhance a terrace access adding to the practicality and mood of any interior.

Cedar shutters are available in a variety of coated finishes. Coating options include oiled, lacquered (clear polyurethane),or a paint finish from our range of standard colours. You can also choose a paint finish of your own choosing.
Shutters can be painted for internal/external use or using the properties of the cedar, left to weather into the distinctive and attractive silver grey tones.
