A creative personality combined with a love of the outdoors, led Anthony to designing and building gardens.

Starting off as an enthusiastic landscape apprentice, Anthony quickly formed an appetite to take on responsibility and to make the most of his time learning the ropes. Once qualified, Anthony set out to further his career and started his own company, "Arbour Constructions".

Over the next 20 years, Anthony continued to grow his business always ready for that next challenge, he honed his skills designing and building gardens, with the emphasis on producing high-quality spaces with that personal touch. Taking on some of the most difficult sites, Anthony proved that with well-considered planning and experienced management, even the most difficult sites could be conquered with outstanding results.

As time went by, Anthony focused more of his energies on design and by following his heart, it was here, that "Anthony Scott Landscape Design" was born and a new chapter began. Drawing on his experience as a registered landscape and pool builder, Anthony is able to offer the best of both worlds when creating and planning outdoor spaces. 

Anthony has been an active member of the landscape industry over the last 25 years. He has been involved in garden shows, exhibitions and was the co-host of the network ten show, "The Home Team" where Anthony shared his knowledge of design and construction.

Taking great pleasure in meeting and working closely with his clients, Anthony always says, that he feels honoured being part of creating and styling personalised outdoor spaces, that not only reflects the individuality of his clients but provide a space for them, to enjoy more of the good things in life.

During this initial meeting, we discuss the project in detail and set parameters for the overall style and function of the outdoor spaces. Brainstorming ideas to create your perfect wish list for the design. The projected construction budget can also be discussed at this time. A summary is provided, noting all the key points discussed during the meeting. Also, a written proposal is provided for the right landscape design package. Once this is complete, we can move to the design stage.

A standard landscape design consultation runs for 90 minutes.

2D Design

Our 2D plan packages can be tailored to suit your individual project needs. Information on levels, measurements, planting and lighting are just some of the key factors we offer with our 2D set. These factors combined with notations and specifications act as a dedicated roadmap for your project. We also include a gallery of the items we would be looking to introduce into your design, making it easier for you visualise.

3D Design

Using our 3D Fly Thru presentations, we are able to communicate a vivid and life-like visualisation of your investment, before you build. This is the ultimate way to experience what your new garden design, will look and feel like. Complete with a set of 2D garden plans, this package leaves no stone unturned.

The Design Process

Once we have agreed on the garden landscape design package that suits you best, the design process starts, designing your outdoor space and staying true to your brief.

Once we’re confident the draft is ready, we’ll schedule another meeting to present our ideas to you. Walking you through the design, explaining the aesthetics and functionality, and providing preliminary construction costs at this stage. You are free to make any changes you need. These changes are then documented and reflected in the final handover, giving you a holistic overview of the project.

From Design to Construction

With your finalised plans in hand, you are now in a position to find a contractor to build your garden. The right contractor should be fully licensed, registered, and insured to take on your project.
