Brief // The key to any project is ensuring that the interiors are an authentic reflection of the client's aspirations and needs. During the brief stage, we take the time to learn about how the client wishes to use the property, is it for a family or commercial purpose, their style, lifestyle and desires. We build a picture of the project through a site visit or floor plans and photographs as well as ensure that we understand all aspects such as time frame, budget, and any structural or other requirements. Following the briefing stage we will send a proposal to you outlining the brief as we understand it, with an estimated budget of our associated design fees.

Concept // Translating your design brief we will present the concept designs, floor plans, sketches of the proposed furniture layouts and any structural changes that may be required, mood board presentations containing samples of all proposed finishes as well as imagery of suggested furniture and joinery concepts.

This process is a very collaborative stage and we invite you, our client, to give as much feedback as possible to ensure you receive your desired outcome.

Details // Having approved all of the concept designs we progress to the development and design stage. All final bespoke furniture, joinery and interior drawings will be presented to you, along with all final finishes, art and accessories for clients' final approval.

At this stage, we will also present a fully itemised breakdown of costs in line with the agreed budget.

Realisation // Once signed off we progress to the realisation of your design.

The schedule of work will be outlined. Onsite requirements will be met and commence and project coordinates and designers will attend required meetings where required to ensure the designs are being carried out to our exact specifications and the project is tracking as planned.

You will be kept informed throughout the duration of the project giving you peace of mind.

Tracey has a unique appreciation for the tonal light and aspect of the paint levels and has extensive knowledge of several brands of high quality paint brands, including her own bespoke range. In October 2016 she launched her own coordinated range of bespoke paints. This is the result of years of research and development, a project of which she is extremely proud. The full range can be seen in the Studio, including her Chalk Paints.

At Bumph and Scumble we ensure that any exterior solutions work with the surrounding environment, and interior solutions suit the clients needs and/or existing decor. We are able to advise on colour selections alone or can oversee the whole project with our preferred tradesmen. No project is too big or small & we pride ourselves on providing genuine, quality service.

The initial consultation is an hour duration in which we will identify your needs and then provide you with a variety of ideas and suggestions. Depending on the scope of work required we may need a follow-up appointment in the Studio.

Utilising our extensive knowledge and experience as Interior Designers we can advise, suggest, and create something beautiful to suit any budget. We source the most appropriate fabric and decorative rod, and track systems. Each solution is tailor-made by our highly specialised bespoke team.

How it works
Contact the Studio to arrange an appointment, to discuss your requirements. Fabrics will be presented in studio for approval and then a final check measure will be completed once quote is given with an estimated time frame. The team at Bumph & Scumble will keeps you informed every step of the way. Even to overseeing the installation, we will confirm your new curtains meet our high standards.
