In 2009, David and wife Nicole established Burleigh Constructions, named after their beloved local area.
A family business born from a desire to deliver unique projects that defy convention and stand the test of time, Burleigh Constructions quickly built a reputation for delivering luxury custom homes of uncompromising quality. We leverage our familiarity with the local area to craft spaces that interact with the Gold Coast’s incredible natural surroundings in new and interesting ways. Our Process
At Burleigh Constructions, we believe that your luxurious home building experience should be straightforward and stress-free from concept to completion. Whether you’re a first-time home builder, or you’re ready to create your dream home, our step-by-step process will ensure that your journey reflects our commitment to uncompromising quality every step of the way.
STEP 1
Initial Consultation
Our team will organise a time to sit down with you to get to know your goals and better understand your dream vision for your luxury new home.We can also discuss the option of using our DESIGN | MANAGE | CONSTRUCT service in the instance where you haven’t purchased a site yet or have a site but no concept plans.
STEP 2
Concept Plans and Estimate
Next, you’ll hand over any concept plans for our team to review so we can provide an accurate estimate. Through our collaborative approach and procedures, we’re fully equipped to work with a variety of options during this period to ensure that your final design aligns with your budget.
STEP 3
Quoting and Detailed Building Proposal
Once your happy with the estimate we will require final Working drawings, Engineers drawings and an Interior design schedule. We can offer our affiliated companies that we work closely with that can meet the desired outcomes.Once we have received all documentation, our team will compile a fully itemised building proposal that will outline your exact specifications to ensure you’re completely satisfied.
STEP 4
Contract
After we’ve partnered together to create a building proposal that works for you, we’ll draw up a Industry Standard HIA contract to be signed by all parties.Upon signing, we’ll apply for all certification requirements and coordinate the documentation necessary for construction to commence
STEP 5
Construction
We’ll manage a clear timeline from the start of construction up until the moment we handover the house keys. Our experienced team will work with you to keep you involved every step of the way through our online project management programme Buildertrend, providing regular progress updates and clear communication throughout the build.The builder will also co-ordinate regular site walk throughs so you can watch your new home as its brought to life.
STEP 6
Handover
We’re committed to delivering an exceptional home that exceeds your expectations. Once construction is complete, we’ll organise a final walkthrough to ensure every corner in your home reflects the vision of your dream build. You’ll also receive a personalised homeowner’s manual that will contain all instruction books and advice to upkeep the quality and value of your brand new home.
