When founders Darren Mills and Mark Campbell established Cadence & Co, their vision was to redefine residential construction by uniting the highest standards of architectural design with the proven benefits of a Design and Construct model.

Today, that vision has grown into one of Sydney’s largest specialist residential architecture and design practices, working alongside dedicated in-house construction teams within a uniquely collaborative environment.

Our fully integrated approach ensures every discipline is considered at each stage of the process, delivering a seamless way to design and build. This enables us to focus on what matters most — our clients’ vision, budget, and expectations.

What We Do

At Cadence & Co, we create homes that are not only beautiful but are also functional and sustainable. With a team of Architects and Architectural Designers who are experienced in all forms of residential construction, Cadence & Co consistently deliver bespoke, quality projects of all sizes.

Each project is created as a bespoke architectural design. The project vision evolves through a process of listening closely to the client and interpreting the brief in response to the specific features and constraints of each site. The design team focusses on providing creative solutions to the brief, while also designing responsibly within the client’s budget.

We believe the design process is fundamentally about good communication and collaboration between the client, the design team and the construction team. Maintaining this throughout the design process ensures our clients are consistently informed of realistic build costs, enabling them to make decisions at every stage with confidence.

To ensure a smooth process all the way through to final delivery, our construction team are also involved throughout the design process. This ensures the design intent can translate efficiently and with accuracy through to construction on site.

Landscaping is seen as an integral part of a property’s overall design. Consultation and collaboration with our established landscape design partners begins early in the design process to ensure the garden and the home, work as one.

Our service spans concept design through to final furnishing, with a thorough approach to understanding each client’s lifestyle and aspirations. With expertise in colour palettes, materials, and finishes, we craft harmonious interiors that balance beauty with functionality, using only the finest quality fittings and details.

Seamless collaboration between our interiors, architectural, and construction teams ensures design decisions are easily implemented throughout the project. By taking a considered approach from the outset, we deliver accurate costings, streamlined processes, and a design journey that minimises variations on site.

What We Do

The Cadence & Co construction team has developed a reputation for excellence through professionalism, attention to detail and clear communication. Delivering projects of all sizes, each site has a dedicated construction team, who remain for the life of the project. This includes trusted specialist subcontractors who ensure we deliver a quality service every time. This consistency of team means our clients receive a very personal experience with trusted and familiar faces from start to finish.

In addition to this, all projects are overseen by our experienced Project Managers, with the support of Directors Mark and Darren.

They drive the construction forward and ensure the major factors of quality, budget and scheduling are given constant attention. The use of our online client portal allows us to track and report on projects in real time – providing clients with an ongoing transparent view of the construction process.

Our design team also continue their close involvement with the project during the construction period. This ensures the intent of the design flows through to delivery of the final product, and any design changes made along the way can happen efficiently and accurately.

A cohesive landscape is essential to the overall design which we incorporate with exceptional attention to detail through consultation and collaboration with our established landscaping partners.

We prioritise the safety of our team, contractors, and all those who visit our sites, above all else. Our dedicated in-house Safety Manager ensures that comprehensive safety systems are enforced, providing continuous education, training, and mentoring to all staff. This ensures that the highest safety standards are understood and maintained on every site.

What We Do

Cadence & Co’s Property Services team provides clients with exceptional long-term property ownership experience through dedicated aftercare service, property maintenance, and support.

We want to ensure our clients enjoy their homes for many years to come. At handover, the Property Services team provides a tailored house manual, detailing key maintenance requirements including all manuals and care instructions for specific items in each home.

Cadence & Co offers ongoing property maintenance to keep every home looking and functioning at its best. This includes a full range of services, from managing and scheduling maintenance tasks and operational inspections to one-off handyman repairs.
