Contab Stainless is a custom metalwork and fabrication company since 1990. We act as fabrication and architectural collaborators to project managers, maintenance teams, owners, contractors, architects, builders, design professionals, homeowners, or engineers to provide successful, on budget, on-schedule projects.

We started from our passion for swimming and working with a premium product stainless steel. Our self sustainable water catchment design is truly exceptional, the water turnover provides crystal clear sparkling water all year around with little to no cleaning. Because no chemicals are required the feeling of swimming in freshwater has changed how we feel coming out of the water.

I needed new swimming platforms for one of our aquatic centres that were sturdy, hardwearing and could withstand the rigours of daily swimming lessons.

Historically, we had used PVC platforms and I was a little worried about moving to a stainless steel type due to weight and being able to withstand a chlorinated environment.

What I found was the platforms that Rhys and his team designed were brilliant! They look great, are easily moveable (which was a great surprise), they were delivered on time and not exorbitantly expensive.

Staff and children are happy that they are standing on a safe and sturdy platform and can concentrate on what’s important and that’s learning to swim.
