About us
Dieppe Design is a small (but mighty!) architecture firm located in Sydney.
We specialise in new builds, alterations & additions, interior renovations and Passive House Design. We work closely with our clients, listening to their design and functional brief, how our clients live their life and what visually inspires them.
The first stage of our process ends in a presentation of unique and personalised concepts, leading to design development all the way to construction and turn-key. We use the latest technology including 3D imagery, video flythroughs and virtual reality to ensure our clients can fully experience our concepts.
This enables us to make changes early in the design development aiming for a seamless construction process. We want the journey to be an enjoyable collaboration between client, architect and builder. In fact, we often miss working with our clients once the project is complete!
Dieppe Design is an A+ member of the Australian Institute of Architects practice and certified in Passivhaus Design. Our consultants, suppliers and contractors are carefully selected and we are proud to share the same ethics ensuring our clients are looked after.
As certified Passivhaus Design Architects, clients can comfortably choose to incorporate Passive House Design concepts or certification into their project. Our aim is to create exceptional architecture & interiors that does not impact the future of our planet.
We feel strongly about the environmental surrounds of each project and the impact it will have on the locale forming part of the design process. Dieppe Design has detailed experience of projects located in bush fire prone areas and any constraints or limitations of the land are thoroughly considered.
To date, Dieppe Design has been inspired how each client lives and connects in their spaces. We learn and evolve from every project looking forward to what our future clients may show us on the next journey.

Dieppe Design are honoured to be on the ancestral lands of the Cammeraygal and Wallumedegal People. We acknowledge the First Australians as the true owners and traditional custodians of this continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Elders of the community & extend our recognition to their descendants who are present. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
We pledge to donate yearly to Australian not-for-profit, charities and rescues to help combat the struggles of the First Nations people, homelessness, domestic violence, environmental devastation and animal cruelty. We thank our clients past, present and future for giving us the opportunity in doing so.

Team
Who We Are
Dieppe Design began as a small word of mouth business in 2014 whilst both Nora & Ed were working full time. However, with a lifestyle that involved rescuing & fostering animals, it was clear they needed a more flexible working day. Dieppe Design is now a flourishing full time business that works around their son Flint, the array of dogs, cats & chickens they have and their client’s varying ways of life.
The principals of Dieppe Design are Nora & Ed, a creative husband and wife team who connected whilst studying at university in the UK. Both coming from international backgrounds and upbringings, they decided on beautiful Australia as home in 2007.
Ed is a registered architect with 15+ years full time experience in practice. After residing in damp and cold rentals, Ed quickly became ardent in designing and building houses properly. In 2020, he formally certified in Passive House Design becoming one of the few certified Passive House Registered Architects in Sydney.
Ed concentrates his skills designing concepts with clients, contract administration, project management and overseeing the team on their documentation.
Nora holds a Diploma in Interior Design + Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. Creative Director became a fitting role as Nora designs and manages the interiors as well as dedicating time to manage the office and work on business development.
When out of the office, Ed enjoys running & mountain biking whilst Nora prefers a creative project or campaigning for animal & human rights but together with son Flint they enjoy long dog walks, travelling for inspiration and delicious veggie food & wine!
