I engaged Hanna Construction Ltd in early 2013 to undertake remedial work to my 1920’s character home in Thorndon. They came highly recommended by our building inspector. Hanna Construction was asked to re-hinge 26 windows, replace the flashings and repair some rotting timber. My overall experience with Hanna Construction was first class. John Hanna under promised and over-delivered on all aspects of the job. His team were some of the most professional tradesmen I have encountered. They were friendly, courteous and polite, hard working and at the end of the day, left the place tidy and safe. This was important to us as we have an 18 month toddler who loves to play outside in the evenings and weekends. The safety aspect dawned on me when I had another tradesman working on site at the same time as Hanna Construction. At the end of the day, the other tradesman had left unused staples and insulation fluff around the front and back yard which was a hazard just waiting to happen while Hanna’s builder left our place clean, tidy and most importantly safe. I am no builder but I can spot a shoddy job a mile off. The quality of workmanship by Hanna Construction was very good and I could not fault anything they did (my wife has a hawks eye when it comes to finishing detail). The final price that came in was per their quote despite Hanna using his own scaffolding to complete our job sooner than expected at no extra cost to me. Overall, I would (and have) recommending them to others in Wellington needing a quality Master Builder who is customer focussed and does a great job.
