J B Kees Builders

J B Kees Builders have been crafting specialist custom homes that delight our clients since 2008.

Starting out as a one-man operation in Karamea, our Director, Josh Kees, grasped the significance of meticulous planning and organisation due to the remote nature of the area. This experience honed his skills across an array of projects, but it was his innate passion for architectural homes that truly set his direction. This focus on precision and seamless client experiences has earned him the reputation of a genuine craftsman builder.

We have a dream team of 7 staff who share the same core values, ethics and enthusiasm that Josh has, making us a tight knit and productive team.

Our Vision

Be a successful and enduring construction company. Our projects exceed industry standards both in quality and functionality, while maintaining value for our clients.

This will be achieved through financial stability, investing in our team’s training and development. Constantly evolving and implementing new technology to meet the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s clients.

Our Values

We are reliable and committed to excellence. There is an enormous amount of pride in what we build. Everything we do relies on the safety of our team and the people around us. We have 3 key values that separate us from the rest:

• Quality
• Communication
• Trust

New Homes
Whatever your vision, whatever your project, we’ll make sure we build you a home to impress.

We love building beautiful new architectural homes from quality materials and can help make your dream home come true. The process of building a new home always comes with its own challenges and is one that you need to be sure is done right at the outset. You need reputable builders who are prepared to stand by their workmanship for years to come.

J B Kees Builders has gained a reputation in Christchurch and the wider Canterbury area, with building projects of all sizes.

Project Management
Whatever your building project, we can manage it all from A-Z.

If you are planning building or renovation work, you might be wondering whether you can manage it all yourself. But the risks of self-managing your own building project can be high. There are usually unforeseen complexities and challenges – pitfalls that an experienced builder can avoid, which can save you time and money in the long run.

At J B Kees Builders, we are experienced project managers. We can give you trustworthy, independent advice and you can rely on us to get your build completed on time and on budget. We’ll not only save you time and money, and but above all we’ll save you a lot of stress!
