Indigenous Design

Our Manifesto is grounded in Indigenous values and acknowledges the deep ancestral connection between Indigenous peoples and the natural environment — an essential source of wellbeing and identity. We work alongside communities to explore cultural narratives through architecture and placemaking in meaningful and enduring ways.

Cultural engagement and co-design are integral to every project, honouring and amplifying Indigenous voices throughout the design process. Our Indigenous design collective — comprising Māori (Waka Māia), Pasifika (Moana Practitioners), and First Nations practitioners — works closely with Māori and First Nations communities and clients to create designs that span both contemporary and traditional expressions, reflective of the communities they serve.
