About

Macfie Architecture is an Auckland practice established in 2006, specialising in heritage renovations and contemporary new-builds. We are double ADNZ Resene Design Award winners, 2025. 

Led by Michael and Rebecca Macfie, we work on projects of every scale: a bathroom, a villa extension, a new family home. Each one receives the same care and attention.

Our work spans Auckland's character homes, the villas and bungalows that define the city's most loved neighbourhoods, through to contemporary new-builds and everything in between. We offer a comprehensive design service from the first sketch to consents and construction documentation, tailored to every project and budget.
