MY Consulting Engineers Ltd (MYCE) is a young and progressive consulting engineering practice located in Nelson, New Zealand. We provide structural engineering advice and design, with experience across residential and commercial projects including carrying out seismic assessments. MYCE deliver a solution that is specific and suitable for the application. MYCE work collaboratively with other consultants to provide a successful end result for their clients.​ Our ethics are based on professional competence, personal integrity and social responsibility.

Commercial:
MYCE Ltd has considerable in-depth experience and knowledge to provide solutions for a wide range of applications in the commercial sector. Good communication between developers, consultants, architects, regulatory bodies and contractors ensures the success of the overall project.

Residential:
MYCE Ltd undertake the structural engineering for a range projects in the residential sector from simple deck additions to high end, aesthetically pleasing dwellings. We aim to provide practical engineering solutions by working closely with developers, designers and contractors. We work in AUTOCAD providing clear and precise drawings for foundations, retaining walls, decks, portal frames, bracing and associated connection details.

Seismic Assessment & Strengthening:
MYCE Ltd has a high level of expertise in seismic assessment and strengthening design of buildings following the experience gained in the Christchurch earthquake recovery process. We have experience in assessing and strengthening design in a variety of building materials including un-reinforced masonry (typically brick or block), timber, steel and concrete.  Experience in multistory building design in seismically active cities in the US has broadened our knowledge and expertise in this field.
