When deciding to build a family beach house at Point Lonsdale, we looked for a builder that had the following qualities:

O’Dowd Builders met all of these prerequisites. Furthermore, through the experience of Principal – Chris O’Dowd, we had no need for the services of an architect, which was a significant saving. O’Dowd Builders (at no charge) also offer an excellent interior decorating service. Guided by Geraldine, we found this very helpful when shaping our ideas and requirements. This service extended to the sourcing of appliances, light fittings and carpets etc. All part of the family business!

Combining our ideas with Chris and Geraldine’s expertise, resulted in a house that met all of our needs.

Our house was completed ahead of time and on budget. The work ethic and the workmanship of the O’Dowd subcontractors was exceptional. The building site was always orderly and well maintained.

Finally, Chris and his team, were at all times professional and ready to listen to our thoughts, ideas and questions. This collaborative approach meant that we felt involved with the building process of our beautiful home, every step of the way.
