Precision Homes

History

The company was started in 2012 by the current owner and managing director, Andrew Butts. Andrew begun his building career in 2000 and soon after became a fully qualified builder. Moving on to become a foreman for one of South Auckland's top building companies before venturing out on his own.

He started out in partnership as part of NZ Premier Builders and NZ Premier Homes Ltd for 6 years. Completing many large projects in the area. After 6 years he was ready to head out and do his own thing and after becoming a Licensed Building Practitioner, started Precision Homes NZ Ltd in 2012.

He set about creating a company that would build high-quality, bespoke homes for his clients without costing them the earth. And that is exactly what he has done.

The 'A' Team

To be able to design and build these projects to the highest quality, Andrew has built up an amazing team, all of them with that same drive and passion for quality that Andrew himself has.

He has two main sites Foreman - Zac and Hans - both are extremely skilled builders and follow the same thinking as Andrew to create beautiful, high-quality homes. These guys help keep the day-to-day running of the sites under control. Making sure everything is running smoothly, everything is being done to the highest standard, and overseeing the other subcontractors that are working on each site. They are both hardworking professionals who strive for quality and have that same eye for detail as Andrew, helping to keep the consistency of quality throughout the builds.

To complete the "A-team" they have Matt and Gideon, each in the process of completing their apprenticeship and helping Zac and Hans to complete each build. They are also both passionate about the quality of their workmanship and work hard to ensure every part of the build is completed to the highest calibre.

All of these guys make quality their top priority, no matter how small a detail they will ensure it is still completed to the highest standard.

Showhome Manager

Finally, they have their amazing Showhome Manager Adam. He is based in the show home at Paerata Rise and looks after all the visitors and clients at the showhome. He also has a passion for high quality and attention to detail that helps him slot in perfectly.

He keeps the showhome looking perfect, nothing is ever out of place and provides a friendly and knowledgeable persona to all guests and clients. Helping to guide you through the process of building a beautiful and bespoke Precision Home.

Bespoke

No two people are the same, no two pieces of land are the same and no two homes should be the same either. Precision Homes believe that each home should be custom designed and built to suit both the needs of the homeowner/s as well as the piece of land they have chosen to build on.

Each individual and each family will have many different ways in which they live; Precision Homes choose to work with you right from the start to establish your wants and needs and then design a home to suit you and your land personally. A home designed and built just for you.

Quality

Quality is Precision Homes' main driver. In everything they do they strive for the best quality and workmanship they can get. They know how important and also stressful building a new home is for people so they want to ensure they get the best possible home they can.

Precision Homes seek quality and take pride in every job they do, and they also seek that in their subcontractors. They have a network of sub-contractors handpicked for reliability, workmanship and show pride in their work as Precision Homes does in their own work. All of this allows Precision Homes to build you a home of the highest quality they can. Their string of awards helps to showcase just how high the quality of their homes really are.

Award-Winning

A multi-award-winning company. Precision Home's high quality is proven by the medals on their wall, helping to showcase the high standard of workmanship that goes into each home.

Taking out golds, silvers, gold reserves and the highly sort after Category Wins in the Annual Master Builders House of the year competition.

Each home they have entered over the years has won an award and they are proud to say that the 2018 Competition saw them take out not only a Regional Category win but also a National Category win. The awards are something they are extremely proud of and help showcase the high standards they seek.

We want to ensure you get the home you want, built the way you want, in the easiest possible way to suit you.

With that in mind there are several different ways that you can approach building a home with us.

We can work with you right from the get go to help you find a section and custom design your dream home. Either looking to some base plans for a starting point or completely custom designed from start to finish.

Already have a section? We can work with you to design a home to suit your needs and that of the section.

Already have plans? No worries we can work with you to begin the building process based on the plans you have, or help with finalizing them ready to start building.

Already have base plans or an idea of the home you want but no section?
We can work with you to find a section that would suit your requirements or help you adjust your plans to suit the section you choose.

No matter what way you wish to proceed then we will try and accommodate that, give us a call today or pop into our showroom and discuss your needs and we will do what we can to help.

We always like to begin with a friendly chat about what you need, want and are after, taking down any notes on individual requirements, design ideas, styles, looks, must haves, don't wants etc etc. Then depending on how you would like to and need to progress we can work forward from there.

We like to include you as much as possible along the way so you can see exactly what is happening and how things are looking.

We encourage you to visit site as often as possible to see how things are looking once construction starts. Sometimes you may think of things you want after we start building or decide you want to change something. We welcome those changes and encourage you to let us know as soon as possible as at the end of the day this is your home and we want you to be happy with the end result.

We also offer an amazing online portal for our clients to use to keep up to date with the build progress, check out whats coming up and see when payments need to be made. Helping to keep you in the loop the whole way through.

We will work as efficiently and economically as possible to then complete your build for you but ensuring quality workmanship is our number one priority.
