About

SQ Projects started in 2010 and has evolved from a one man operation into a multi award winning building company offering a wide range of services, with special attention to boutique residential construction.

We always aim to partner in projects that are different, push the boundaries and continually set new challenges for all members of the team. Building and maintaining successful working relationships with clients, architects and contractors are the keys to our business. We take pride in delivering quality projects, on time and within budget.

We love to be involved in the whole process, from concept to completion and aim to add value at all steps along the way. Working in an enjoyable and truly collaborative way with our team of architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers not only makes the whole process more productive and satisfying but also lifts the end result to a whole new level.

We used SQ Projects to undertake the renovation of our heritage home in Dover Heights in 2015. We could not have been happier with the quality of their service, the build and their team. The most pleasing aspect of the project was the genuine friendships we formed during the build. Constructing a dual occ consisting of our new home and restoration of a Victorian terrace in a heritage area was a significant challenge and unlike most projects, we started building with only 60% complete construction drawings. This approach allowed us to develop the detailed design as we progressed, with monthly meetings to manage our budget and meet our tight 10-month timeframe.

We could only achieve this with SQ’s willingness to collaborate and work flexibly with us. Joe, Project Manager David Maes and site foreman David Komadina were key and a pleasure to work with. My family and I now live in a beautiful home and as we move around the house we’re reminded every day of the many contributions SQ made in making this project a success and enriching our lives.
