Our work touches people at each point of the project. Without our drawings, contractors don’t have the guidance they need, and it’s much harder to achieve the outcomes you have in mind.

We’ll learn about your project to make sure we’ve taken into account local requirements – for example, if your site is heritage-listed or in a bushfire zone. We’ll also undertake a feasibility study to see if what you want is possible – or how we can make it so.

During the design stage we’ll craft drawings and prepare documentation for Council approval. These are essential for communicating the vision for the project, and in moving to the build stage.

Our work doesn’t end when construction begins. We’ll provide your builders with the documents needed to make your project a reality. And we’ll manage any questions or problems that might arise – ensuring that everything goes smoothly.

Anna Klimova, Design Director

Anna has over two decades of Australian and international architectural experience. The holder of an MS in Architecture from St Petersburg State University of Civil Engineers, Anna worked for two years in St Petersburg as a heritage architect and has almost 20 years of local experience working with highly regarded firms like NBRS Architecture, Brewster Hjorth Architects, and DEM(Aust).

Dmitri Kozlov, Director

Dmitri joined Studio Urbo in 2014. He manages the day-to-day running of the studio, including contracts and liaising with building contractors. This frees Anna up to concentrate on her designs – so that your project runs as efficiently as possible. Dmitri has a passion for building technology and eco-friendly homes and strives to find sustainable solutions to projects wherever feasible.
