Project team
A thoughtful expansion of a charming Spanish home, preserving original character through enhanced arches, restored balcony inserts, and careful attention to historic wallpaper, resulting in a seamless blend of old and new with the expertise of AD Architecture.
When our Clients decided to expand on this lovely home, they wanted to maintain as much of the original character as they could.
By increasing the arches to match the already existing three and enhancing the already beautiful Juliet balconies, it has most definitely been maintained.
There were many features kept and restored. Like the balcony inserts; these were original pieces from the back deck and the wallpaper in the WC; this was probably one of the biggest challenges… when completing major internal demolition, maintaining a wall with paper on it has a certain level of difficulty.
With great help from Peter at AD Architecture our Clients were able to create a beautiful extension to what was already a masterpiece.
