Addison Street House banner

Found on the banks of the Waikato river the Addison House has been carefully located within its stunning site to capture its impressive views.

The design of this house was angled to manipulate the site and promote the surrounding views. The design uses black brick and black Accoya weatherboards, this monolithic approach highlights the textural characteristics of each of these materials.

As a practice Design Culture aspires to create elegant designs that seamlessly blend into their surroundings. Our main focus is on improving the experience of those who inhabit the spaces while delivering a cost-effective solution. As a firm, we believe in designing creative architectural solutions whilst crafting practical outcomes.

Design Culture was founded in Hamilton in 2016 and works on an array of projects varying from private houses, holiday retreats, house renovations, and specialized educational projects. Our goal is not only to create stunning structures but to help achieve our client's architectural vision.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
