ArchiPro’s warm, modern exhibition stand at Design Show Australia creates a sense of conversational comfort while illustrating diversity in materiality. The Melbourne café-style design showcases the scope of products available on ArchiPro from Australia’s top suppliers, turning the digital platform into a tangible experience.
The brief:
Interior design studio Bond Theory was selected to design ArchiPro’s exhibition space at Design Show Australia 2023, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The brief was to showcase the commercial and residential sides of ArchiPro’s offering by utilising a diverse materiality. The inclusion of a conversational space encourages visitors to learn more about the products available on the ArchiPro platform and its ability to connect homeowners with professionals in the design industry.
At the exhibition, visitors can discover the range of commercial and residential products found on ArchiPro, and feel invited to explore, converse and learn more about the platform.
The design:
As visitors enter the stand, they are welcomed by a striking background featuring the Archipro logo. The signage is mounted on a UniCote LUX Weathered Iron backing board, offset by flowing sheer curtains, flooring by Interface and a brick wall from Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers.
The ArchiPro stand begins with a relaxed lounge area, which shows furniture that straddles commercial and residential settings by Florabelle, lit up with About Space lighting. A La Marzocco coffee machine sits on the coffee counter, designed by CASF Corian with the Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers brick upstand features as you move through to the mingle bar area that showcases Level Furniture’s outdoor range.
Bond Theory’s final design showcases a variety of products with both residential and commercial furniture layered with architectural building products and soft interior finishes – all aimed at highlighting diversity.
The result:
The design allows the ArchiPro team to meet with architects, designers and suppliers in the comfortable lounge area and coffee bar, while also informing homeowners about the advantages of using ArchiPro for their upcoming building or renovation. Large screens display ArchiPro’s Project of the Month, taking visitors inside some of the best architecturally designed homes in Australia.
Every product on display in the ArchiPro exhibition space has a QR code linking to that product on ArchiPro. This system highlights one of ArchiPro’s key points of difference: that every product on the Archipro Australia platform is available now from Australian suppliers.
