We took a decorator approach to this building exterior influenced by Palm Springs architecture, Lilika Road embodies a mid-century modern design aesthetic, characterised by clean lines and rigid surfaces. A playful approach to shapes, the flat roof line emphasis the building’s horizontal lines, whilst the archways soften the vertical appeal. A broad use of stonework introducing texture complimented with wood cladding incorporated to the horizontal lines, adding another layer of warmth and contrast.
