When Auckland Zoo commissioned the refurbishment of their Pride Lands exhibit, the brief was simple – the best possible viewing experience without compromising guest or animal safety.
Our commercial bent glass – TemperShield® – was skillfully installed into natural rock to provide the perfect solution giving visitors an experience of being almost in the Pride Lands themselves. Walking around a convex curved enclosure in one instance and to be enveloped in a concave one the next adds a sense of inclusiveness that flat panels simply cannot deliver; and at 19mm (3/4″)thick, security is never compromised.
