The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) provides an undergraduate learning environment for future Officers of the ADF to undertake both military and university studies, whilst living on site and being exposed to the expectations and rigors of military life.
The ADFA Redevelopment delivers much-needed upgrades to the existing facilities and services at the campus, providing an opportunity for ADFA to rationalise the campus and re-evaluate their requirements.
This includes keeping pace with technological advances and meeting their perceived needs for the next two to three decades. Included in these upgrades is a new 1,200 seat auditorium with stage production capability; the expansion of common teaching and learning facilities including new and refurbished learning spaces; and a new indoor sports centre featuring two sports courts, and a climbing and abseiling wall.
