Award Kitchen, St Kilda Road

High above leafy St Kilda Road with stunning views of Port Philip Bay the kitchen with the island bench sink and separate butler’s pantry in this Apartment no longer met the Clients needs and lifestyle. A major constraint to overcome in an Apartment are plumbing, electrical and mechanical services. The brief was to keep the base footprint and create a spacious kitchen to include a meals table, five in bench cooking appliances and provide abundant bench space for preparation. The challenge was that it should not look like a kitchen when viewed from the adjacent lounge room.
This Kitchen received Award for Best Large Kitchen Victoria and Rina Cohen was Awarded Kitchen Designer of the Year Victoria 2014-15.
