Brief: To manufacture and install outdoor screens that protected the diners from inclement weather and match in with the restaurant decor. Ziptrak screens were used to create an enclosure - almost doubling the size of the restaurant. The screens can be easliy retracted on sunny days to allow for airflow and to open up the space.

Shade Elements is New Zealand-owned and operated. That’s important, because it means we understand what conditions are like in this beautiful country. Strong sun and UV can give way to wind and rain without warning, so it’s vital to have well-designed shading systems that can cope with whatever nature throws at them.

Our screens, awnings and pergolas are assembled in our own factory, in Auckland’s Penrose. We source world-leading products from around the globe to bring you the best in contemporary design.

We’re all about creating versatile spaces for outdoor living – just the way Kiwis like it. We work with architects, designers and a network of quality fabricators and installers who deal direct with private homeowners and commercial operators, such as cafés and restaurants, to add value to their buildings and help craft stunning living spaces.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
