Clapham Residence

Extensive renovation to a 20 year old home. The clients favoured a minimalistic, modern, ‘white on white’ aesthetic throughout their home, with a new kitchen and bathroom renovation high on the priority list. The colour palette was very minimal, American Oak was the hero of the palette, bringing warmth and texture, and complemented by neutral Whites in various textural materials - Linen drapes, loop pile woollen carpet, and textural white mosaic tiles. The renovation extended to the entire home, and included a full kitchen renovation, updated flooring to the kitchen, dining, living areas, hallway and bedrooms. Family bathroom renovation, updated master suite, two guest bedrooms, laundry, and a custom designed built in office. The American Oak cabinetry features throughout the home, in the kitchen, laundry, office, and bathrooms. Handleless design complements the minimalist theme, with statement custom Oak handles used in the kitchen, and laundry to create some wow factor. Simple black track lighting in the kitchen adds ambiance and atmosphere, and continues the minimalist and modern aesthetic. Brushed Nickel tapware, bathroom accessories and door hardware were selected for their timeless elegance, with longevity of design in mind. The Interior Designer collaborated closely with Fieldhouse Builders throughout the project, and assisted in the project management of all construction and subcontractors.
