Throughout, the design honours the home’s original character while introducing a refined new sensibility. The existing pale timber flooring has been thoughtfully retained, grounding the interiors with a sense of continuity and warmth. This conscious preservation of materiality is complemented by new layers of soft finishes and sculptural form.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen stands as a statement of refined craftsmanship. Honed stone surfaces, a curved island, and integrated detailing blur the lines between functionality and artistry— realised through close collaboration between Sici Design, the homeowners, and skilled artisans.

Curated furnishings and textured accents reflect the home’s relaxed sophistication, balancing architectural clarity with a sense of ease. The result is a residence that elevates its original foundation into a luxurious holiday-inspired sanctuary—where every detail has been considered, and every space feels both refined and deeply personal.
