Bespoke Architectural Home in Wanaka
Ever wondered how the Tui bird experiences the world? Our design vision sought to emulate the world through the eyes of the Tui in our architectural design and build of soft curvature, organic lines, and complementing textures.
As we walk through the front doors, we first journey through an artistic cedar lining at the top of the hallway. To the left and right are extensions to sunny-side bedrooms and an imaginative bathroom featuring a custom glass print. We featured a forest green statement wall with floating shelves in the kitchen to emulate branches of a tree where a Tui rests. The forest green themes were thoughtfully continued throughout the bathrooms, living room, and master bedroom for that true woodland connection. We sought to design a home that would offer a luxe feeling, welcoming spaces wrapped in the practicality of a low maintenance property. This contemporary home features a curved facade curated out of vertical cedar, initiating a journey through brilliant architectural design.
