Set above Peregian Beach, Decade House is a family home shaped to capture the coastline from its upper level. A fine edged roof floats over a curved white balcony, with an oval skylight cut through the eave to pull sunlight and sky down onto the covered terrace.
Inside, a double height living space is anchored by a travertine fireplace column, surrounded by warm timber joinery, a long stone topped kitchen and louvred glazing that casts shifting light through the day. A dramatic veined stone powder room adds a moment of richness.
Built by JW Constructions, with interiors by Zooi Design and engineering by Structures Engineering Design.
