Initially, this project involved a simple design brief; to paint the exterior and interior of a newly purchased café. Following deeper discussions with the client, Regional Design Service resolved that their vision was to take it a step further, and revitalise the space into an appealing and functional new café.

In addition to the venue being repainted, we designed a lighting plan for all spaces within the building and refurnished using original iconic furniture items from both Kartell and MUUTO.

Clever co-ordination of trades and suppliers meant that DOCS was only closed for a week, and trade has increased significantly. The result was beneficial for both our clients and the people of Corowa, who now have a city-slick cafe of their own, right in the centre of town.
