This landmark property in Sydney’s Double Bay was originally designed by award-winning architect Alec Tzannes. Twenty years since completion, GWA were engaged by the owners to completely update and remediate the three-storey property, inside and out. A painstaking ‘contemporary restoration’ was undertaken to restore many of the architect’s detailing as well as to upgrade and improve the functionality and appearance of many of the interior spaces. With new flooring, a brand new marble-clad kitchen, new bathrooms the reinterpretation of this vast property’s interior was matched by the introduction of a new garden and entertaining areas.
