These clients wanted a pool in a small space still available on their steep property, while maintaining the openness of their minimalist modern home. With only a small space available, the pool was built right against the home with an inbuilt ledge for lounging, and an infinity edge and a dry infinity edge on the other exposed edge for style and safety. As a result – access only from the one side – fencing was able to be minimised and the extraordinary view and open feeling were maximised. Though the site was steep and access tricky, the Mayfair team is well-accustomed to navigating difficult terrain and up for the challenge.
