'Dear Ecodure, we are a young and growing family building our forever home tucked away from city life. We work & play at home and need a floor to handle when the outside inevitably makes its way in!'
Product Used: Duracore®Lifestyle (Akaroa)
In association with our long-term partners at David Reid Homes North Shore, DuracoreLifestyle (Akaroa) was selected for this 4-level family home tucked away with views for miles.
With a young and rapidly growing family, DuracoreLifestyle was selected for it's real timber look and high performance nature. Laid across all 4 levels including bedrooms, study, living rooms, play areas & the wet rooms adjacent to the pool, it has managed to tick a multitude of boxes for everyday living without being at all precious.
Four levels means lots of stairs so matching stair noses and a pre-attached 100% cork backing on the floor planks offers premium design and a quieter and softer foot fall.
A year on the floor is performing just as it should allowing this family to get on with life worry free, as it should be.

Duracore Flooring is in it for the long haul, prefect given this rapidly growing team built with family longevity at the forefront of design. A beautiful plan with all the important things right at their fingertips; land, nature, water, big sky & even bigger family.
All Duracore floors float - effortlessly.
But, the devil is in the detail. Speak to Ecodure about the Art of the Floating Floor.
We will review your designs and guide you to a gold standard floating installation minimising unnecessary unsightly trims, giving the impression of a premium glue down wall-to-wall floor (*it's not).
Why Float vs Glue?
You save on glue & install costs plus enjoy a healthier home. Duracore is so safe for the family it carries the coveted Green Guard Gold Accreditation, suitable for sensitive environments like childcare, schools and medical centres.
