An entertainer's dream, this timeless kitchen blends classic shaker cabinetry with warm timber flooring, brass accents and a generous island that invites gathering. Thoughtfully designed for effortless cooking, conversation and connection, it balances refined style with practical family living.
This renovation transforms the kitchen of a single-level 1970s family home into a contemporary, highly functional space that respects the home's original character while enhancing everyday family living. Designed as the social heart of the home, the kitchen seamlessly connects with the dining area to encourage cooking, entertaining and family interaction.
The warmth of the existing native Matai timber flooring has been retained and paired with contemporary Dezignatek shaker-style cabinetry and Corian benchtops to create a timeless yet practical aesthetic. A generous island provides ample preparation space and casual seating, while a 900mm freestanding gas cooker, integrated dishwasher, concealed rangehood and premium appliances deliver exceptional functionality.
Extensive concealed storage, durable low-maintenance finishes and a classic Butler's sink ensure the kitchen is as practical as it is inviting. Thoughtfully designed for a busy family of four and their dog, the result is an elegant, enduring space that balances refined design with everyday performance.
