ABOUT THE PROJECT

Urban Eclectic House gives a nod to the urban-industrial context whilst transitioning scale to the adjacent residences. Unashamedly raw, the material palette combines brickwork with timber, colorbond and cement to create a home where internal and external spaces share the same material palette and where natural ventilation and light stream in throughout the day.

Whilst Urban Eclectic House is rich in material and volume, it succeeds not through its bold form and warm pallet, but through its careful zoning and connection to its context; embracing the requirement of the people who live there, whilst acknowledging its past, present and future.

About the
Professional

As a team of architects, designers and project managers with local knowledge and international experience, we are constantly putting our skills to the test to create outstanding design solutions for our clients across the multi-residential, workplace, education, health, retail, community, residential, industrial and hospitality sectors.

Architecture is expressive, innovative and creative, but it’s also about solving problems and overcoming limits. Our team challenge the status quo, elevate clients’ missions, and seek to measurably improve lives and communities.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
