Fiordland, 2015
Our client for this project has built a cinema, a bar and now 2 hotel suites all of which we have been involved in. Previously an accounting office, we were engaged to re-image the space as a small hotel. Like the attached cinema and bar, the brief was to impart our client’s deep understanding and love for Fiordland to his guests. Our response was to recreate the bush indoors. Mossy carpet, misty curtains to divide the space, native southland beech timbers in all the joinery, natural stone act together achieve this.
Scope of service; Full interior architecture.
This project was in collaboration with Michelle Freeman.
