A serene kitchen design inspired by Tropical Modernism, featuring warm plastered walls, terracotta tiles, and vintage Japanese textures, seamlessly blending style and function in a Ponsonby home by Katie Lockhart and Jack McKinney.
A calming, warm space, oozing ‘Tropical Modernism’, Katie Lockhart champions celebrated architect Geoffery Bawa in this Ponsonby home. A spacious, perfectly formed kitchen overlooking a private pool, this is a place you never want to leave. The warmth of plastered walls, terracotta floor tiling, vintage Japanese textures and timber joinery take you to another world. Our Ionian bridge tap sits with restraint off to one side, adding quiet style and function to the abode.
