Original Inspiration for Parterre

A Parterre is defined as, "a level space in a garden occupied by an ornamental arrangement of flower beds."

After spending 11 years living in London, Murray and Christine moved to the sun drenched coastlines of New Zealand. Taking inspiration from the palaces and mansions of the UK and Europe, the Grainger's wanted to create their own parterre which included a strong, traditional Maori Mahi Toi influence. 

The Grainger's needed a strong yet flexible garden edging product that would make their complex DIY job straightforward. The 75mm Flexline Weathering Steel garden edge was the perfect hero to help bring their landscape design to life. By adding some extra notches and cuts into the rear side of the 75mm Flexline, a minimum of 100mm radius curves could be made. An absolutely beautiful landscape design by two creative DIYer's.
