The Eye Surgery Hastings is specialist eye clinic. The suspended ceiling in the consulting rooms used the Daiken Hospitone anti-bacterial Daiken acoustic tile with Gridlux light. T&R Interior Systems provided specialised Gridlux lighting designs for the consulting rooms (with full switch dim capabilities and high a CRI). The waiting area has a skylight with a perspex suspended ceiling below. The combination of natural light and the Gridlux tees is incredibly effective.

The Eye Surgery Hastings is specialist eye clinic built by doctors Alex and Sophie Buller. Their move to build their own clinic was prompted by a desire to create a specialist service, able to keep up to date with current medical practice as well as be positioned for ongoing medical developments into the future. The facility, comprises a reception area, waiting room, consulting and treatment rooms and an operating theatre. It was designed by Fat Parrot Architecture's Pierre Du Toit. MCL Interiors installed the walls plasterboard and grid and tile ceilings in the interior fit-out at Hastings Eye hospital.
