Hawthorn Bond

Hawthorn Bond is a boutique apartment building located in Hawthorn. As an integrated project, we approached the project with the aim to create a coherent message across its spaces and identity.

Combining the area’s heritage and its urban renewal over the last decades, the design employs the use of bricks that were historically produced in the area. The project incorporates a fresh mint colour as a common bond between the space and identity. This concept is further strengthened by incorporating locally sourced building elements to craft these private residences with modern comfort and efficient living in mind.
