Project Description

This architecturally designed luxury residence is tucked away in the foothills of the Blackall Range delivering the ultimate hinterland escape. Featuring red metal stone, ironbark, marble, travertine and polished concrete, this home is a smorgasbord of authentic, natural finishes complimenting its surrounds.

And it’s not just a pretty face, this home is intelligent too. The insulated core formwork provides high R values and a high thermal mass which reduces the overall energy consumption of the home. Abundant louvre windows and oversized doors assist with cross-flow ventilation during summer and the wood-burning fireplace assists with heating during winter. The house also features solar power, solar hot water, rainwater tanks and an onsite wastewater system, which all work together to reduce the ongoing impact this home has on the environment.

Client Testimonial

Steve and Simone understood what we were trying to achieve from our first meeting. Collaborative, communicative, problem solvers, and dedicated to take on a new building form/ process outside their previous experience. The trades Steve and Simone engage with their SX team, are all devoted to the SX Construction philosophy that we observed – building with precision and detail. We are overjoyed with our dream house, and the journey we went on with the SX crew over the construction months.

Steve, Simone and their crew feel like part of the family, which we know is not common after a house build. We would not hesitate to have SX build for us again, even if this meant waiting for their availability.
