One of the most ambitious developments in Auckland to date, converting the former airbase at Hobsonville Point in the upper Waitemata Harbour into avibrant community the size of Devonport is avast challenge.

In an equal joint venture partnership with Isthmus Group, Construkt played a key role in masterplanning this community of 3,000 dwellings across 167ha. The Comprehensive Development

Plans for the Sunderland and Buckley Precincts reflect the increasing emphasis on creating a higher quality, more compact Auckland. The framework acknowledges the historic fabric of the area and aims to maximise the coastal edge.

The plans, while considering market realities, take a constructive approach, learning lessons from and aiming to improve upon previous development stages. The area has become a destination in its own right and enables ongoing development of an active mixed-use and sustainable community.
