The brief from our building designer was to create a modern home that incorporated indoor and outdoor living and capitalised on the expansive ocean views which would become available by adding a second storey addition.
With the use of natural timber, light colours and architectural panelling we were able to achieve a modern coastal feel which flows throughout the home.
Large louvre windows allow the ocean breezes to pass through the home in the warmer months reducing the need for mechanical temperature control.
LED lighting has been used both internally and externally in the custom drop down & recessed ceilings and bathroom niches. Designer wall lights and pendants complement the full height raked hallway ceiling and open glass-encased feature hardwood staircase.
